As of 10th November all services at
Blackmans Bay Childrens Services will be
changing over to the new Child Care
Management System (CCMS).
We have included an information booklet—it
is essential
you read this thoroughly.
Prior to this date we had access to a range
of information that enabled us to help solve
problems as they arose—after November 10 you
will have to assume a grater level of
responsibility.
A few points to remember:
· Register
with the family assistance office (FAO) for
access to online services
· If
we do not already have your customer
reference number (CRN) please show us your
assessment notice. We already have this
information for most current families
· Ensure
we have your date of birth and your
children’s date of birth
· Absences
have increased to 42 days per year;
documentation of additional absences are
only required by BBCS after the 42 have been
utilised
· In
Tasmania a child becomes school aged once
they start attending Prep (not kindergarten)
· If
your child(ren) attend services as well as
Blackmans Bay you must complete a form and
specify the hours of care in each of the
services used.
We have our fingers crossed that the
transfer to CCM will be pain free!!!
