YOUNGER CHILDREN HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Most days our weather help up and we made the most of this by visiting parks, going for a walk in Salamanca and of course our “shop till you drop’ with Bev, and Footy Clinic at TCA grounds for those brave people (Hester, Bill, Matt).  The visit to Forestry Education Centre was a first off and most children got a lot from this.  Our next visit to extend on this will be down Geeveston way in the December holidays. If course we had to have a visit to Huonville PCYC and Fit and Fun in Glenorchy –0h what a great indoor way of using up lots of energy with our friends.  An on-the-spur of the moment some of us visited TMAG and to the delight of the children Porian (TMAG Taxidermist) showed the children the ‘ins and outs’ of Birds, Reptiles etc and of course the final pieces to display.  Some early starts to fit everything in during our program so thank you to all those parents/carers and bus drivers for helping us to achieve once again an action packed but fun filled June Holiday…..looking forward to the September holidays and any suggestions would be great.
