This month of program is “Exploring Nature”

The children have been pointing out the leaves blowing in the wind when on walks. We collected leaves and used them in collages that are displayed in the Room.  The children have been using natural resources such as leaves, pine bark in pretend play experiences.  “Yum leaf soup” Chloe said when handing me a pot of leaves.

The Rainbow children also were involved in the Holiday Program with the Snowflake and Sunset Children.  We did:  Macaroni Day, World’s Biggest Morning Tea, Brookfield Vineyard , YMCA, Fancy Dress, Pyjama Day, Mures and the Museum.  Please have a look at our great photo display in the room.

Over the next 2 months we will be focusing on our colours.  We focus on one colour a week for 7 weeks and have Rainbow Week on the 8th week. 

Kate is now Co-ordinator of the Snowflake Room so Ashlee has replaced her in the Rainbow Room while Hayley is on Maternity Leave  Please feel free to talk to any of the staff if you have any questions/concerns.
