This month the Snowflake crew have been learning about bugs and insects. We have concentrated mainly on the “lifecycle of a butterfly” and have done activities surrounding this. Our mini Easter Holiday Program was a great success with many activities and even an excursion. Friday 29th April saw us aboard the bus and heading for Bonorong Wildlife Park. There we had the experience of patting a Koala, Wombat and Blue Tongue Lizard. Ellis our new friend from Seattle had never seen a kangaroo, koala etc so this was a real experience and eye opener for him. The children thoroughly enjoyed this experience here’s some of the quotes from the day: Riley B—”look at the big possums here (referring to the kangaroos)” Marcus—” I love the kangaroos coz they fight
