June has seen us enjoy an action packed holiday program! We kicked off with a day of exercise and fun on our boot camp obstacle course, and all got certificates and medals to take home! We caught the bus to Brookfield Vineyard at Margate, where we had lunch and a look at the model village and railway We made pet rocks with feathers and fur and googly eyes and spent a day in our pyjamas watching movies and eating popcorn. We took another bus trip to the city where we looked around the museum and then had lunch at Mures. YUM! YUM! It was a busy two weeks
Sunset children have been learning about space so they built a big space ship out of boxes, wrapped in silver foil and we all played in it together, with space rocks and alien antennas that we made. We have been looking at space and learning about planets and space ships and stars. The children have been very interested to learn about how spaceships travel into space and send information back to Earth We have painted space rocks and satellite pictures of Earth as it looks from the moon. We made some black space play dough with silver glitter in it and it looked like the night sky full of stars! The children have enjoyed reading books about space men and stars and have learnt lots of new words! We dressed up as spacemen and aliens with little antennas and silver padding on our arms and legs. We looked silly but it was lots of fun!
